In this stunning follow-up to the global phenomenon The Da Vinci Code, Dan Brown demonstrates once again why he is the world’s most popular thriller writer. The Lost Symbol is a masterstroke of storytelling--a deadly race through a real-world labyrinth of codes, secrets, and unseen truths . . . all under the watchful eye of Brown’s most terrifying villain to date. Set within the hidden chambers, tunnels, and temples of Washington, D.C., The Lost Symbol accelerates through a startling landscape toward an unthinkable finale.

As the story opens, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon is summoned unexpectedly to deliver an evening lecture in the U.S. Capitol Building. Within minutes of his arrival, however, the night takes a bizarre turn. A disturbing object--artfully encoded with five symbols--is discovered in the Capitol Building. Langdon recognizes the object as an ancient invitation . . . one meant to usher its recipient into a long-lost world of esoteric wisdom.

When Langdon’s beloved mentor, Peter Solomon--a prominent Mason and philanthropist--is brutally kidnapped, Langdon realizes his only hope of saving Peter is to accept this mystical invitation and follow wherever it leads him. Langdon is instantly plunged into a clandestine world of Masonic secrets, hidden history, and never-before-seen locations--all of which seem to be dragging him toward a single, inconceivable truth.

As the world discovered in The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons, Dan Brown’s novels are brilliant tapestries of veiled histories, arcane symbols, and enigmatic codes. In this new novel, he again challenges readers with an intelligent, lightning-paced story that offers surprises at every turn. The Lost Symbol is exactly what Brown’s fans have been waiting for . . . his most thrilling novel yet.

What can I say about this amazing book? Well, as for me, if you really wish to understand it in the right way, you should read it by your own. It is written in a really original style, with a great plot, interesting characters and a lot of cool stuff. All you can imagine - it is not true) Brown makes such incredible plot ways that you can't predict even if you will really try hard to do that. Well, Bill Gates Scholarships
There are many millionaires in the world, but not all of them contribute to the society. Unlike them, Bill Gates, one of the richest men in the world and CEO of a huge multicultural organization, does not forget the underprivileged and poor. He has made his fortune with his knowledge in the technology, but he also contributes a part of his earnings to the underprivileged people who does not have enough funds to get them through college.

According to Bill Gates, learning is the only solution to remove deprivation and differences between different ethnical groups and communities. To support students from various ethnic groups he has formed a Bill and Melinda Gates Scholarships Fund. Its major purpose is to provide scholarships for students from low income families.

The main criteria to apply for Bill Gates Scholarship include the following. First of all, students must show academic excellence and at the same time they have to be from low income families. The major aim of this fund is to make the field of science and technology accessible to all members of the society, thus the scholarship does not have national barriers and is awarded to anyone who is a permanent US resident.

Even though Bill Gates Scholarship is not aimed to entirely relieve the students and their families from paying tuition costs, it is aimed at providing scholarships to support low income families to reduce the burden of paying their children’s tuition fees. This fund provides an average of $15000 a year to all graduate students. At the same time, undergraduate students are awarded $7000 a year.

This amount will not be enough to pay for your college education, but it will significantly reduce the amount of loan that you will have to take from the bank. Besides that, it does not prohibit you to apply for other scholarship programs or to work on campus. Apply for Bill Gates Scholarship and secure yourself a bright future.

Is it entertaining? Yes! Is it easily readable? Sometimes! Is it a "good" book? Depends!

Dan Brown is not an easy writer. The writing in this book is far from fantastic, but there's just something...entertaining about it. Once I hit page 60 or so, I simply couldn't stop reading it. It's full of all the things you'd expect from Dan Brown: italics, stilted dialogue, shoddy history, and a really unbelievable, but completely gripping plot. Take it for exactly what it is: pure, guilt-free entertainment. Revel in it, enjoy reading, and don't worry about what anyone thinks.
