This book did help with explaining conflict and suspense that was not rip-riding thriller bombs and such, but its examples were MOSTLY of that sort, so it was not entirely the book I was looking for. I was able to read between the lines, though, and the writing style is so friendly and easy to read that I was able to quickly read it and will definitely be going back to it for some of the checklists and summaries of what it was about. A pretty good read for somebody like me who suffers from NWS - Nice Writer Syndrome!
