I've never bought a Lee Child and probably wouldn't. Someone's been leaving them on my condominium's giveaway shelf. This is the third I've picked up free. The first two convinced me that Child does great setup, but falters at wrapping things up. Echo Burning is consistent, for what is, through the final page.
